Over 1000 Organizations and 500 artists are supported by NYSCA grants

In FY2024, NYSCA awarded $46 million in direct support and $32 million for capital projects. 

$162 Million for FY 25 Arts and Culture Grantmaking

NYSCA will award $82 million for arts and culture organizations and artists and $80 million for capital projects.

Capital Projects Fund

Since the NYSCA Capital Projects Fund began in 2018, the agency has awarded 473 capital grants, totaling $216 million, across all 10 state regions through the support of the Governor and Legislature. In FY24, 69 percent of the awards went to organizations with budgets under $3 million.
