Nominate a NYSCA Panelist: Applications Accepted through 2/9

NYSCA is now inviting panelist nominations for the FY2019 Application Cycle.

Each year, NYSCA solicits nominations from NYSCA staff, Council members, current panelists, current grantees, and the general public. Self-nominations are accepted. Panelists are appointed for terms of one year, and may serve for a maximum of three consecutive years. 

NYSCA advisory panelists play a key role in our grant process, evaluating applications according to the Council’s three primary rating criteria:

  • Artistic/Programmatic excellence
  • Managerial/Fiscal competence
  • Service to the Public

Panelists are a diverse group of professionals from across the state whose expertise spans every discipline represented in our grant programs as well as many facets of non-profit management.

Advisory panelists will be recommended by the NYSCA staff for the approval of the Council. 

Deadline:  February 9, 2018 at 5:00 pm, ET.

Term: April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019

Payment: Panelists are paid $200 per full-day panel meeting and $100 per half-day panel meeting. Expenses for travel, lodging and meals are reimbursable according to the U.S. General Services Administration’s per diem schedule.
