Welcome to the new NYSCA website!

We are thrilled to introduce the new and improved arts.ny.gov!

The new site has been designed to highlight New York State’s extraordinary creative culture and NYSCA’s role in supporting our arts sector, and to provide a one-stop resource for applicants and grantees.

If you've visited us before, all essential information from the old site can be found here, and we've added much more to better serve you. Now, you can:

Get to Know our Programs: Each of our 15 grant programs and the Regional Economic Development Council initiative has a dedicated page with links to related grantee spotlights, news, resources and staff information.

Learn How to Apply: We've created a step-by-step guide with video and screenshots will help you through the application process.

See our Grantees in Action: Throughout the site, we are featuring photo and video of our grantees in all programs and from all areas of the state. We will update the site regularly, so keep visiting to see more!

Find NYS Culture Near You: Search past NYSCA grants by NYSCA program, city and county to find out about grantees near you. In the coming weeks, we will also launch an interactive map where you can learn about artists and arts organizations anywhere you visit.

Access Our Resources: We’ve compiled resources available through NYSCA, those specific to individual artists, and recent research to support artists and arts organizations in New York State.

We greatly appreciate our grantees’ contributions to the site, and we look forward to sharing more news about NYSCA and the arts in New York State with you!
