The 37th year of the Performance Mix Festival brings together 27 experimental dance and film artists from different vantage points over 4 days. This season’s highlights includes Once I Saw A Hummingbird by Raúl Tamez (Mexico) winner of a Bessie Award for Choreography, film selections in collaboration with Cinédanse (Quebec), NDA resident artists from Black Artists Space to Create and LiftOff, and LayeRhythm, acclaimed freestyle street/club dance and live music performance design. We bring back Breakfast Mix a delicious morning of discussions with international artists and the screening of Gravel (re)Works by Jean-Christophe Yacono (yako).
