Legend of Sleepy Hollow Storytelling

Storyteller David Neilsen will perform a retelling of Washington Irving’s The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. This will be a fun, family event, featuring additional Halloween treats and activities for our guests. Join us for a memorable experience to celebrate Halloween season in Sleepy Hollow!

This event will take place indoors at HVWC. Forty seats total will be issued for this performance. Please note that video recordings are not permitted during the performance. Suggested for age 8 and up due to slightly spooky content!

David Neilsen is a classically-trained actor and professional storyteller who has performed at a wide range of venues, ranging from the New York Botanical Gardens, Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, and Washington Irving’s Sunnyside to area schools and birthday parties. His captivating storytelling and mesmerizing one-man shows have enthralled audiences of all ages throughout the Tri-State area. He is also the author of two Middle Grade horror/comic/fantasies Dr. Fell and the Playground of Doom and Beyond the Doors, both published by Crown Books for Young Readers.
